IRS Audit Representation

You have received a letter from IRS.  Fear and panic strike as you read YOU are being audited.

IRS selects tax returns to audit in one of two ways.  First, the computer programs designed to identify returns that may have incorrect data, i.e. W-2's, 1099's, 1098's, past examinations, or issues identified compliance checks.  Second, information provided by outside sources indicating incorrect data was used.  Outside sources include but not limited to newspapers, public records, or other individuals.

Do not attempt to handle an audit by yourself as many taxpayers do.  IRS auditors are trained to solicit more information from you than you have a legal obligation to provide.  IRS auditors know most taxpayers are not savvy in taxpayer rights and most taxpayers fear the IRS.  IRS auditors use this "fear and ignorance" to their advantage.

There are several types of audits.  Correspondent Audits are handled by a Tax Compliance Officer.  Office Audits are handled by a Tax Compliance Officer.  On-site Audit is handled by a Revenue Agent.  You do not have to speak with an IRS auditor.  The Tax Law Pros can handle everything for you.  No lost wages or time off of work to handle all the paperwork.  Simply forward  the audit notification to our office and The Tax Law Pros will handle IRS on your behalf so you can have peace of mind.
